TEAM TAYLOR. Who's with me? ~ Independent of the Path

So I was ok when I found out that New Moon won't be out until 2010.

And I was ok with Catherine Hardwicke not directing the next film.

But I am most certainly NOT OK with ANYONE else besides TAYLOR LAUTNER playing my dear JACOB!

Taylor was the perfect Jacob in Twilight. Why would you even think of changing such a significant character in New Moon. Especially considering that Jacob will probably have about 2 more hours of screen time than Edward in this film.

Apparently, Chris Weitz is considering Michael Copon for the role of Jacob.

Sure, he's cute. I'm sure he's a decent actor.

But HE'S NO JACOB.

The guy isn't even Native American for crying out loud!! He's like Filipino/German or something.

At least Taylor is like half Native American!!

I am pissed. I would say I am going to boycott the film, but let's be honest here-that would be impossible for me to do. All I can say is that I hope I am not disappointed with Mr. Weitz decision.
